Thadeus F. Mkamwa, Ph.D in Human Resource Management, is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour. His areas of research include High Performance Work Systems, organizational and employee behavioural outcomes, teamwork, and employee quality of life. He has been involved in various research projects such as UCOM project – Understanding Communal Orientation in Men, and the AgriDiet project which is on the empirical evidence on the linkages between agriculture and nutrition in Tanzania and Ethiopia.. He has also coordinated a number of projects such as the Initiation of Structured Postgraduate programmes in Research methods Education – A German-Tanzanian partnership in the Social Sciences’ (InSPiRE) and the Business Investigative Journalism Project which is a joint project between BEST AC (A private sector membership organization in dialogue with the government to improve ease of doing business in Tanzania), Saint Augustine University of Tanzania and ANSAF – an Agricultural Non-State Actors Forum. Besides his academic roles in research and teaching, he has worked in administrative positions

Dr. Pius Yoram Kavana has an extensive academic background and professional experience in the field of agriculture, specifically focusing on livestock research and development. He holds a Diploma in Animal Production from Uyole Agriculture Centre, Mbeya, Tanzania, obtained in 1990. Dr. Kavana further pursued his education and completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania from 1991 to 1994. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Rangeland Management Science degrees from the same university between 1995 – 1998 and 2016 – 2021, respectively. Throughout his career, Dr. Kavana has actively engaged in various short courses and training programs to enhance his skills and knowledge in agricultural research and project development. Some of these courses include Forage Crops Production and Utilization in Japan, Logical Framework Analysis for Project Development in Tanzania, Developing and Writing Grant Winning Proposal Training, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), among others. Dr. Kavana has also contributed significantly to the academic field through his research publications in peer-reviewed journals focusing on improvement of feed resources and livelihood of people.
