We are working toward our shared goal of facilitating student exchanges between Tanzania and the United States, A collaboration between Cal State Dominguez Hills (USA), St Augustine University (Tanzania), Water Institute (Tanzania), and New Hope Academy of Change (USA) with Tanzania Tunu Initiative (TTI) (Tanzania).

We are building Bridging Borders: A Transformative Four-Year Degree-Seeking Exchange Program.

Objectives

• Facilitate a long-term academic exchange partnership that includes undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral opportunities for Tanzanian students.

• Collaborate on vocational diploma programs in water engineering, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and technology within Tanzanian institutions.

• Encourage short-term cultural immersion and fieldwork opportunities for U.S. students in Tanzania.

• Promote mutual academic recognition, credit transfer, and co-teaching initiatives.

• Ensure inclusion of disciplines such as Social Sciences, Governance, Teacher Education, Political Science, Humanities, and Information Communication Technology.

• Support institutional capacity-building and shared accreditation between SAUT, WI, and NHAC.
